These black boxes shown on the left side are what I call 'the fungi nest'. At the moment, only two of them are there but they might grow in numbers.
The fungi needs dark and warmth to flourish. They are quite resistant but having a nice and a dark environment makes them happy :)
The fungi nest allows those, it is dark and heated with some heating pads.
The containers for fungi to grow in stays warm in the nest, I also use some isolation materials to keep the warmth inside.
