The square boxes you see on the left side are made from transparent acrylic sheets. What's inside them is a very thin layer of agar substrate. They have lids so it's possible to close them and isolate inside.
On to your right, you see aluminum foil covered sample boxes. The reason behind this is, the boxes need to be pressure cooked for 90 minutes for complete sterilization. By doing this, I intend to eliminate other species of fungi and bacteria from the box. So, the p. microspora can live in the box, otherwise it would need to fight with the other species.

Below, you see some visuals of the p. microspora growing in the sample boxes. The existence of the water droplets shows me the fungi is alive and breathing.
